WARRIORS OPEN MIKE NIGHTS at the GOV
Presented by Weekend Warriors Club SA
Governor Hindmarsh Hotel -Front Bar   Port Rd Hindmarsh
*Every WEDNESDAY NIGHT - 7.00pm till 11.00pm...or so.
GEAR SUPPLIED
*PA, mics, guitar amps, bass amp, drumkit and keyboard
*Bring your own guitars, harps, drumsticks, etc.
JAM RULES
*Singers and musicians are allocated a slot on the whiteboard
*You may perform solo, as a band or ensemble.
*You get to perform a minimum of 3 songs in a slot and may be given more than one slot,  
 depending on the attendance.
*DON'T cause a delay on stage - work out songs and tune-up beforehand 
*Feel free to pre-book your Band or Ensemble -Contact AL at least two days prior

Performing everything from rock, blues and soul to rock musical numbers.
Practice sessions every Wednesday night.

D'UKES of WARRIORS
WEEKEND WARRIORS UKULELE ENSEMBLE
-The Warrior Uke Ensemble rehearses every Tuesday night together with the
Gov's Uke Society in the Gov Front Bar -starts 8pm.
-Beginners courses are held on the first Tuesday of each month, it's FREE!
-To join, simply roll up with your uke and register with tutor/music director,
Richard Tonkin
-The Uke Ensemble performs at all WW events, seperate rehearsals are held for these.

YOUNG WARRIORS
-WW Round 30 Concert at the Gov on Sunday 27th November will see
the launch of the YOUNG WARRIORS
-The YOUNG WARRIORS program is for young musicians from the age of
14-21 years -they'll be placed into two bands for this Round, and beyond.
-To register, contact Dom Desisto on 0412 077 717 or email weekendwarriors@bigpond.com
-Registrations closes on the 7th October
-Six weeks of rehearsals starts on the 16th October
-All music equipment, rehearsal studios and tutors are provided by Holden Hill Music School
-Following the gala concert, the bands become part of the WW Club and are eligible to register
for all the available gigs as listed below.

there are plenty of opportunities for all Weekend Warriors Club members OR come along on a Wednesday

Warriors SA provides the following web site advertising and promotion for Warrior bands:

• maintain a Warrior band's profile on the Profiles page and keep it updated
• provide links to a Warrior band's web site on the Profiles and Links pages
• in the Gig Guide, advertise Warrior sponsored events and the bands playing
• in the Gig Guide, advertise a Warrior band's independent gig at a non-Warrior event when the event is open to the public provided the band still complies with the Warriors SA Membership Categories policy
• adverts for non-Warrior events may not include downloadable notices or posters but will provide a link to the band's or the event's web site where practical
• the web site may not advertise a Warrior band's independent gig at a private event that is not open to the public, eg. where other Warriors SA members are not able to attend or such advertisement cannot increase the band's audience.
• the web site may, at the Association's discretion, put stories about bands and non-Warrior events on the News page when that story promotes the objectives of the Association.
