Looking for a Spot in a Band?

Maybe your band folded after the Concert. Don’t sit at home waiting for the phone to ring – it won’t unless you start putting your name out there. Stick an ad on this page – let people know you’re looking. Or contact someone who is advertising a vacancy. Or maybe put out your own general call for people interested in forming a new band. Go to the regular Warrior Open Mike nights at The Gov and maybe strut your stuff in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Go to Warrior gigs and talk to other members, make yourself known.

Are you a bit worried that maybe you’re not quite good enough? Don’t be. If you got through your Round and Concert, then you’re obviously good enough to take the next steps and start playing in a regular band. It only gets better.

Vocalist Seeks Band
G'day all, I'm Shane a vocalist from the band formally known as The Black Roses. We went through the WW Round 30 program but parted ways after the concert & I'm currently available to join another band. My best genre of music would a mixture of classic rock. I love a bit of acoustic & some blues & like a ballad or few.  I like a good variety of music & hopefully can bring that across into another band. The WW Club Events Unit is constantly seeking guitarists and singers to link up and form much needed Acoustic Ensembles to perform at all of our events. It's easy, two or three rehearals is enough to get you up for a 15-30min slot on stage at our 'Open Mike Nights' on a Wednesday at the Gov, our monthly 'Saturday Sessions at the Gov', our popular music festivals, 'Moofest' and 'Riverstock' and many more ......see our "Gigs Guide" page on this site.
