THE EVENT
The indoors Moorook Music Fest 2010 is a follow-on of the successful '09 event, both of which replaced the outdoor Moorook Blues Fests of '07 and '08.
Blues remains very much on the agenda and is now added to the more broadly adopted program which includes, Rock, R&B, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, Country and Folk.
Warrior bands and Ensembles of all generes are welcome to register. Most musos derive great friendships, networks and music partnerships out of the three days of
non-stop live music and fraternising. The Riverland crowd and the Adelaide regulars are hooked and come back each year for more.....we're proud to be part of the drive
in making Moorook the music capital of the Riverland.
STAGE and SOUND
*STAGE
There are two Stages for this event - STAGE 1 and STAGE 2:
Stage 1 is situated inside the Club.
Bands perform 45min slots with 15min change-over time.
Stage 2 is situated inside the Club -oposite Stage 1
Acoustic Ensembles perform 15min slots during band change-over times on Stage 1.
*SOUND
*Stage 1
-The PA system is provided and operated by Trevor Philby Sound -all mics and DIs supplied, all amps and drums are miked-up.
-WSA supplies the Drumkit, 3 Guitar Amps - 1 Marshall 100w Solid State, 1 Marshall JVM410 2x12 combo, 1 Vox 100w Valve,
Bass Rig -Hartke 500w Valve Head with 4x10 and 1x15 Hartke Cabs, Music Stands and Guitar Racks.
- All Drummers to use the kit provided, but may provide own cymbals, snare and foot pedal/s
- All Bassplayers are encouraged to use the bass amp provided.
- Guitarist may use amps provided or supply their own - those supplying their own must inform the Events Manager prior to the event.
- Singers may use mics provided or supply their own - those supplying their own must inform the Events Manager prior to the event.
- A Tuning Bay is provide backstage - no tuning on stage!
- If your band causes a delay on stage, your setlist will be cut to suit, if the delay is caused by the Stage Crew, you'll be given extra time to complete your set.
- Bands are to be ready and tuned-up 15minutes prior to performance.
- Secure band gear storage will be provided backstage.
*Stage 2
-The PA is provided and operated by Warriors SA and includes mics, DIs and foldbacks.
-Warriors SA provides a Snare Drum, a 100w Hartke Bass Amp, Music Stands and High Chairs- all instruments are DI'd.
- Acoustic guitars to be use only. NOTE: no effects pedals or electric guitars allowed on stage.
- Acoustic or electric bass guitars may be used
- Percussions: Drummers to use snare, brushes and highat only. Congos, bongos and any other percussion instruments may be used
- Secure band gear storage will be provided backstage.

12.00noon - 12.00midnight 15min Acoustic slots on Stage 2 and 45min Band slots on Stage 1
MONDAY
09.00am - 10.00am Farewell Breakfast in Dining Hall - FREE breakfast for Warrior musos & their partners
BAND RULES
Band and Ensemble Contact Persons must ensure that all their members are paid-up and that their band
make-up complies with Warriors SA band membership ratio policy -see policy document on this site.
