COMING SOON - STAGE & SOUND WORKSHOP
A basic beginner' Stage and Sound workshop course for WW singers and musicians...a must for all Warriors. To  be held periodically on a Wednesday night at Tthe Gov, upstairs in the Balcony Room from 7pm till 8pm. A very small fee will apply to cover the cost of engaging a tutor Sound Engineer and providing PA gear. Further details out soon - watch this space.

Update! Australian International Music Show - Special Deal for Warriors Members
Melbourne 2nd & 3rd October at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. This replaces the annual Warriors Convention. It's bigger and better than ever. 5000 sq metres of music gear on show across three halls. Extensive list of artists, plus numerous clinics and workshops covering all aspects of music making, recording and production. Expect to see world-class international and Australian artists on some of the stands and performances by some of the best musicians on the planet. Warrior Soul Choir - Singers Wanted
The Weekend Warrior Soul Choir was establiblished on the 25th August 2010. The Choir will be accompanied by a Soul Backing Band and perform at major WW Events. Membership of the Choir is open to all Warrior members with the abillity to sing. Choir practice sessions are held each Wednesday at the Gov's upstairs Balcony Room from 8pm till 9pm. The cost is $10 per singer per session. Voting Results of Special General Meeting
The Special General Meeting of Warriors SA, held on Wednesday 28 April 2010 at 8.00 pm at The Governor Hindmarsh Hotel, considered and voted upon proposed changes to the Constitution to conduct all Warriors activities in South Australia under a single organisational structure and single Weekend Warriors brand and to strengthen the relationship between the Weekend Warriors Program, State Associations and sponsors.

One minor amendment to the definition of Chapter Sponsor was moved from the floor and approved unanimously. The Special Resolution "That the proposed new Constitution and Rules (as just amended) be adopted" was carried by 24 "Yes" votes to 4 "No" votes. This fulfils the requirement that a Special Resolution needs a two thirds majority of members present to be carried. Related documents may be downloaded from the list below. Please note: The latest copy of the Proposed New Constitution (v9) was uploaded to this site at 5.56 pm on 21 April 2010.  Please disregard any copy downloaded before that time.

 The new Constitution and Rules need to be lodged with and ratified by the Office of Consumer And Business Affairs. Changes to the organisation will be introduced gradually over the next few months.
